My favourite ang moh customer got us a bar of chocolate from New Zealand when he went back for Christmas. He is so so nice! ^^

Beginning of 2010
I feel like i am dying of exhaustion, with the endless amount of projects and assignment to do, i hope this semester will end real soon! Seeing the amount of workload, i think time will fly faster than any other moment of my life. 24 hours a day, 7 days per week and 7 weeks for this team.
So little time, so much thing to do.
I survived the 7 subjects i got last semester, 5 subjects now shouldn't kill me.

Gonna spend the rest of my weekend rushing school work and preparing for the one day KL trip.
I will be staying over at the airport from Monday night, cos we need to be there by 4 AM! So we decided to save on Taxi fee. I guess we will all stink and looks like Panda when we are on the last flight coming back to Sin. But guess it will be real fun! =)

Will update as soon as i squeeze out enough time. Have got facial on wed afternoon, one full day of lesson on Thursday and helping up for open house on Friday. So busy!

I got another resolution to add in!
11. I will read newspaper everyday, no matter how busy i am.

It seems a little early to be wishing people happy new year, but i guess i would be sleeping when the clock strike 12. So happy advance 2010!

Goodbye 2009.
I was thinking about a new year resolution and i realise for the past few years, my resolution are all kept in this blog and not in my head. Sadly they were never put into action, i shall not let the same thing happen again! I need to make sure all of them were acheieved before 2009 ends!

2010 resolution
1. Work hard to win the 2011 Singapore Amazing Flying Machine Competition. Since i ve given up my internship for this competition, i must get something out of it.
2. Get GPA of at least 3.4 for semester 2.2. Tough la, but i am still keeping in mind my favorite phase, " Nothing is easy ".
3. Lose weight, it is the same resolution over and over again, i seems to lose nothing but gained many. My aim is to weigh 46 by the end of 2010. More exercise, even lesser junk food than now.
4. Getting plenty amount of fruits and sleep to improve my complexion. I give out on the resolution of getting fairer complexion. I will never achieve it so long that i am still working.
5. Getting a part time job in a Aviation related industry, preparing myself for the working life i am about to step in.
6. Saving up for Taiwan trip as well as a car! I want to get my parent a car by the age of 26. Work hard Yuan Xin! There are a lot of work to do to achieve that.
7. Cherish what i have instead of longing for what i doesn't have.
8. More love, care, concern and time for my grandparent.
9. Blog freqently! Increase blog traffic.
10. Pass driving practical in one attempt! My TP is in March, no more poles. All the best to me!

2 more days to 2010


Oh, doing project is so exhausting.
I was researching my part untill 3am yesterday and i still couldn't find relevant information for my part. Lucky Adrienne help me out today, at least i got a draft of everything out.
Now i will just need to edit them.
I seriously need more time =(
Yesterday Shi Li suggested that she could give me some of her time. If only it work that way...
I need those time.

Then i can spend those time sleeping zzzzz

Met BFFs for Christmas gift exchange.


Finally we squeeze out time to meet up. Shi Li is super free whereas Siew Ling and i are so so busy! Poor li, she must be real bored at home. She just left my place after painting her nails with the nail polish i gave her. Glad that she love it =)

We went Eastpoint Starbuck for high tea and went to walk around after that. Got myself a Polka dot dress. Super vintage feel.

I love this picture. =) We wore the same nail colour coincidently. Twin twin.
We always think alike and have the same taste. Love my BFFs.

Huggy. I looks like a tree here and siew ling is a koala bear. haha.

Did you realise my hair looks shorter and my bangs neater? I rebonded my hair again and cut it shorter. I miss my long hair =( My hair is a little curl in, not super straight leh. Think it is because of the length. But i love the way it curl inwards.

Siew Ling have to help her mum to work after that, so she just wore something simple and i was too lazy to put on makeup, met them after my lesson.
Only the nothing better to do Shi Li is beautifully dressed.

We had our very first flight simulator session for our Air Field system 2 lesson today!

It is so so cool! All of us were so excited to play with it.
Feeling like a pilot! haha.

Loving it, looking forward to next tuesday Malaysia trip too! I love my course =) Always full of activity.
Hmm. What should i wear and how much money shd i bring. I was thinking about it during my lecture and i got scolded by Adrienne =.=

Last saturaday we had an advanced christmas party in Pulau Ubin, my grandma place.
I was working in the morning and those are what i wear for work every weekend when i work- long sleeve top and pants.
I don't like tanned skin and over exposure to sunlight will give you darkspot also.
And long pants is to protect myself from getting cuts. But i still get cuts and blue black all the time. =(

We decorated our very own Christmas tree! The tree is so freaking tall, we cant even reach the top even with the super tall ladder and it cost a bomb to decorate the whole tree!

Merry Christmas!
Wishing all my pretty and handsome reader a merry merry Christmas. =) Without all of you this blog wont be here for so so long. You guys are my motivation to continue blogging.
Thank you lovely, who tags me often. I really appreciate those encouragement, thoughts, concern or just those random comments, they always make my day.

I spend my Christmas eve sleeping and Christmas working in Ubin, how did you spend yours? 6 more days and we are gonna bid goodbye to our dearest 2009. Although i had a major change to my life this year, i felt that it is way better than 2008. When my result sucks and everything were just opposing me. I love 2009 and i wish 2010 will be even better than this year.

To summarise the whole year.
(not in any particular orders)
1. The break up of my 4 years long relationship
-It is the most horrible experience ever, but i am much more stronger and mature compared to last time.
2. First job interview in my life!
-Although i was really nervous before that, i got in!
3. First official job with pay and CPF contribution
- I got cancelled twice when i was about leave my place for work, was totally devastated. But had lots of fun driving buggy around the airport and the pay rox!
4. My first time dating with some stranger.
-hmm, not too bad?

5. Gained the most weight in a year. 4 KG! That is freaking hell lot.
-Lost pretty much from the super duper busy holiday, hopefully i will win the lose weight challenge with Melvin.
6. Passes my BTT, FTT and had my first driving lesson.
-BTT 1 attempt, FTT 2 times. Driving lesson was so terribily exciting and fun. Love it! More to come.
7. Created my Facebook account.
-Facebook is so interesting, with so much fun games to kill boredness and you could basically find any living person on this earth. So much better than i expected.
8. Joined a walkaton(Deaf asso ERA) and a marathon(Aviation run)
-5 Km jog wasn't as scary as i thought
9. Celebrated my birthday with cliques, girls and the first guy i fall in love with.
-19Th birthday is e best birthday ever. =)
10. Swimming for the first time in more than 10 years!
Ouch, it hurts my muscles.

Woah i actually did so much thing this year. Surprising, it didnt even looks like it is just one year. More like 2 or 3.

As i browse through my blog posts i realise i am so different when comparing the first half of the year to the second half of the year. One with S and one without S. Do i look much happier? I wouldn't say i wasn't happy when i was with S, but being alone give me much more freedom to do things which i always wanted to do as well as having more time and money for myself, my family and my friends.
Having a partner also means always having to put him infront of everything elses whenever i make a decision. Sometimes even when it means having to sacrifise thing that i want to do.

The critical factors- being alone means that my emotion is more or less the same. My mood wouldn't be affected by another person, i wouldn't get hurt by anyone elses(cos no one is in my heart), i wouldn't have to spend my night lying on the wet pillow which i had cried my heart out, i wouldn't be left broken and lost in a bed of roses with torns which i choose to be.

That is how much i love being single. I guess i am having PRBP(post relationship breakup phobia)-I invented it. I am actually seeing myself being single for the rest of my life. There are no man on earth which worth my trust ever again.
haha. Sorry S, if i make it sounds like u hurt me so much.
It isn't that way actually, dont misunderstood ya. It is me, my heart.
Perhap another half a year more to get rid of those uneccessary emotions.

X'mas celebration


Went Bugis with my lovely poly friends today for christmas celebration cum gift exchange.

Yum Yum, snacked before dinner, didnt have lunch today.

Me, Jie Yan, Rui Yi, Adrienne and Daniel.
Melvin went for his army training and joined us later the evening.

We got bored while waiting for him. Bugis is such a boring place to shop at.

Then we went to eat at V8, plus exchanging gifts. I ordered black pepper Spaghetti and paid about $11 for the plate itself. I think it is quite afforable to dine there. It just lack of the ambient. But when everyone is broke, it is a great choice.



Disgusting challenge. I hate beef and Melvin hates mushroom! He told me to try the steak, so i told him to try the mushroom if he wants me to try something which i hate.

It tasted horrible la. Looks like Melvin hates mushroom more than i hate beef.

Then we went to take Neoprint! I dont remeber when was the last time i took NeoPrint.

It was so fun but tiring

Baking is a tough job!


Sorry people for the lack of updates! Been busy doing Christmas shopping as well as clearing stuff i want to do before this 2 weeks holiday ends. Made Cookie on Thursday and made Kueh on Monday! I always wanted to learn how to make those "oh delicious Kueh" my ah ma does, she has more than 50 years experience of making it!

So i told my aunt about it and together we made Kueh at Granny's place in Ubin.
Coincidentally, today is Dong Zhi, so my aunt bought some horribly ugly Kueh we made to the temple for my great grand pa, grandma says he love to eat Kueh. Hopefully he really get to taste those Kueh we made =)

Those are Banana leaves my cousin and i stealed from the roadside. haha

Grandmama turning flour into dough for the Kueh skin, using flame from Charcoal. She use charcoal to cook everyday. If i have to do that everyday, i would rather die! Gas is so much more convenient and clean.

Using a ancient glass beer bottle to roll the dough. That is granny's idea. She is so environmental friendly!

Next, used bowl to cut out a round shaped pieces to wrap the ingrediants in.

Using the mould to make the shape and the prints on the Kueh.

Pretty pretty. We didnt remove the extra flour on the Kueh! In the end it was still there when it is cooked.

Everyone busy doing, it was so fun! haha. It is more like our toy. My cousin were enjoying themselves.

Making them into different shapes and colour to distinguish between different filling.

And it is all done. =)

Need improvement on the skin. It was too thick! haha. But the filling were real nice, cos granny made them.

That is my sexy grandpa!

Granny said something which made me almost tear, she says we should pay attention and learn. So next time when she cant walk or passed away at least we still know how to make kueh to eat.
Sometimes i really hate myself for spending so little time with my grandparents. =(
Grandma and grandpa, we love you!
Thank you for being so patience with me all the time. I remember there was once, i helped my grandma with Kueh, and i drop a freaking big dough on the ground! When she saw it she was laughing away. Not a single sign of anger.

Our Kueh making eventually turned into flour fight, but she didn't told us to stop or gets angry. Just laughed and said we used 3x more flour than when she did it herself.


The Tang Yuan we made, i made super tiny ones so i can fit in 20 into my tummy. Those weird looking ones are done by my cousins.

Wonder what my aunt is doing with the ladder?
We are gonna decorate our v own real Christmas tree!

I am a half a Catholic, half a Buddhist. In another words, none of them. haha. But i do celebrate both their festival. That explains my Christmas shopping and traditional chinese kueh and tang yuan making. A combination of both is awkward at times, i am always the middle person when it comes to religion conflict between my parents, but the advantage is that, i get to experience both side of the culture.

Dalah, almost done. I cant reach the top of the tree even with the super tall ladder.

PS: Sorry for the poor quality pictures. I didn't bring my camera along cos i stayed over at my grandma place after work. My aunt ask me to accompany her daughter, aunt need to go home.

Thursday after the group meeting, Adrienne, Daniel and Melvin came over to my place to bake cookie for our lovely friends as christmas gift, in addition to the stuff we getting for gift exchange.

Finally done! We spent like 5 hours baking and packing them! It is real tiring.

Although it doesnt look very nice, it is ultra delicious! Thank goodness Melvin was there, he did all the tiring work and mopped my kitchen floor too. haha.

Spent the whole day shopping for Christmas present with Benedict. Didnt manage to get everyone's pressie, but at least got about half of all i need to purchase. =)

Celebrated Jie Yan's birthday today, initially wanted to head back to school to do our project. But all of us was reluctant to do! So after the meal we had a good chat, stroll around the mall and the rest of them head down to Melvin house for some serious Mahjong session! haha. The 2 gamble queen hands are itchy already! I came home first cos i was having slight headache. Must be because of the pass 4 days busy-ness

Had lunch at Bakezin. It is located in the middle of no where. People were staring at us when they are on the escalator.

I ordered a Chicken Mushroom sandwich only. Was quite full and didnt want to add in so much calories. Remeber my dieting competition with Melvin? I dont want to lose! He look so much skinner after his haircut. It is looks only okay! (Mel dont be too happy! I will win)

Seems like it is time to get my nail repainted.
I am offically broke. I spend $66 paying for my first lesson+ enrollment fee + $20 for booking of final test. And i just spent my saturaday's $60 salary in 3 days.

Passed my FTT and had my first driving lesson! It is so fun driving! I find the clutch freaking hard, i always have problem depressing it all the way down, when i try to move the seat forward, my knees are hitting on the steering Seems like my leg got weird proportion.
First lesson was practicing left turn, was manageable.

Head down to Plaza Sin on my own after that to do some Christmas shopping for my lovely friends and family.

I am in Love!

Got a card holder for myself. =) It is freaking $20! And i didnt realise it isnt white until i reach home.

And i sinfully got many many thing for myself. I love all the shops there, you know i spend 3 hours shopping there on my own and i don't find it boring at all. =)
I don't mind going there a million times.
There are so much thing which caught my eye, the Hello Kitty super huggable soft toy at Seimon-Cho, the bracelet in Mini Bits, the white dress, the gold necklace. I wish i have unlimited amount of money!

I love all the buttons in SpotLight, they are so ultra cool!

And i found a new love, hairband. =)

Spent the whole day working, working seem to become a kind of enjoyment for me already.
I like knowing new people, i like seeing familiar faces, i like seeing my customer smile and satisfied with the services and the product, i like my customer remembering my name, my occupation and bothers to find out more about me(concern type, not pervertic or with intention kind of), I like their smile, their apple red sweaty face when they are back. I like them all.
Everyone seems so be so nice! Angels =)

It is amazing that i could actually feel so much in the few minutes i spend with someone.
Thinking about it makes me misses them- the auntie who compliment my service, the Caucasian who says we give the best services among all the stall in Ubin and there was a regular customer who ask me the diploma i am studying cos he is looking for fresh graduate to do networking. (Anyone interested? ) They are the nice ones.

Of cos there are times where they upset me or makes me feel uncomfortable. Some are unreasonable, some are too stingy while some are too fussy. And some are WEIRD!
There was this guy who comes alone like every weekend just to see me! He will pick those new bikes which are more expensive and then ride it for about 2 hours and then he will spend another hour standing there talking to me while i am serving customer or keeping the bikes etc. Scary right! I think he is in his early 30s. He even asked for my number! Of cos i rejected him. I am already having so much trouble to try to avoid him, i cant imagine what will happen if he got my number. I guess i can forget about switching on my phone forever. He is the most extreme one.

Just a random post, to get something off my mind.

I am scared by the speed human changes.
Sometimes it freak me out when i look at photos of XX and gf.
It makes my heart feel sour, my brain confused.
It is not because i still have feeling or i still love this particular someone, just that, the scope of change is so huge and it happens so suddenly that it seems to be unregistered in my mind.

It always feel like it was just yesterday and nothing changed.
I hate myself for feeling this way.

And let me emphasis once again that it is not because i still like him or blame him or hate him.
Just a weird feeling which i am trying to analyze.

13 more days to Christmas!


I didn't manage to learn driving today. =( My instructor smsed me at 11 when i was applying my PDL to check with me my location. Dumb dumb. I called back, only then i realise he mistaken our appointment to be 10.30.

Actually wanted to meet Siew Ling directly after my lesson, cos she have her dragon boat event which end about the same time as me. But i didn't have my lesson so i went home while waiting for her. I wanted to get a watch for myself and get some sour plum for my grandpa, off we go to Bugis! Have not been there for ages.

I love Christmas! It is so pretty everywhere you go.



Aww, without Shi Li, pictures seem so dull. I miss her! She only can make it after 5pm while both of us need to go off by evening.

I have ideas for Christmas already! All i need now is time now.

The long awaited 2 weeks holiday is finally here. =)
There are plenty of thing i want to do and i need to do. (driving, movies, working, drama, Hi My sweet heart, projects, SAFMC.........)
I don't think i can even spend a decent day complaining how bored i am, which usually happen during those long holidays.

Anyway i caught New Moon today with my cliques after the paper, it is far better than expected.
I find it more enjoyable compared than Twilight, i think it is because i kind of already forgotten the storyline, so i didn't complain how lousy it is compared to the book this time round.
I only took 4 photos with Jie Yan today, we went off first so there isnt any picture of the rest.

I have been staying up late to study for the TermTest, until my skin turn very cui now!
So horrible, i don't think the sickening New York Skin Solution's treatments help at all.


The year is coming to an end real real soon, time to summaries the whole of 2009 and put in the conclusion and add in New year resolutions for 2010!

There are plenty of school outing to look forward to next year.
First of all, "Classroom in the air", we are gonna fly to KL(4 January), it is a one day trip.
AND you wouldn't believe it, i am going to climb Kinabalu during Oct next year! (it is not officially confirm yet) My friends were surprised when i told them i am going, they say i don't look like those sporty type who will go for such trips.
But then, i want to try. No matter how tough it could be, i should try right.
It looks like it will be a really fun trip, nice scenery, an unique experience.

I am suppose to be preparing for tml's paper, but i am hooked on facebook's Pet society.
That is my pet in Shi Li's house, twin twin. =) We always look the same somehow.

I am always looking forward to monday, cos there will be update of items. Which means shopping!
I am so in love with this week Christmas's decoration theme there.
Decorated my house till i am completely broke.

You see, when the light off the tree will glow.
So pretty right. haha.

Term Test madness
Finally 2 papers down and 2 more to go.
And you know what, i just bid goodbye to the second A for term test. Which means 2 As gone =(
Today's paper was manageable, things which i memorize did come out, BUT i stupidly fillled in the wrong points for a 5 marks question which is exactly the same as the quiz's.
Damn thing.

This is as bad as yesterday's paper.
Project manangement
Which i left 5 minutes to do a 8 marks question and 10 MCQs.
I only manage to complete the 10 MCQ and i left the 8 marks question blank.
Not exactly blank, i drew some weird looking graph which i have no idea what it is.
Although i am not the only one who can't finish the paper, the feeling still sucks.
